Youth Ignite Ministry
Steven Green

As a native of Jackson, MS, Steven Green has ministered through MIME for more than 20 years. With True Vine Baptist Church setting the foundation, he exercised his gift regularly and has since aided in birthing over 20 creative arts ministries throughout Mississippi and across the nation.

In 2010, his passion for ministry led him to help birth MENisters of Mime. The ministry’s purpose is to live, strive, and teach not only with the “paint”, but also through their daily walk with Christ. MENisters of Mime’s creative and stirring illustrations, have afforded them the opportunity to travel the nation facilitating conferences, preaching the word of God, and serving the community. They were selected to minister live at the 2012 Gospel Superfest to honor the Godfathers of Mime Ministry, K&K Mime.  He has shared the platform with Pastor Jamal Bryant, Marvin Sapp, Ernest Pugh, Mike McClure, and several others. He also serves as a board member for Communities Working to Unite Youth.

Steven continues to develop his craft of mime while also allowing other gifts to develop through speaking engagements, conference facilitations and ministering the Word of God, which has prepared him to continue leading True Vine’s MIME ministry (T.E.M.P.) and serve as Youth Minister of the Firehouse Youth Church.

He is consistently focused on moving the hearts and minds of all people towards a life of excellence and prosperity through the love of Jesus Christ. He believes that true inspiration lies in authenticity, not perfection.  His personal mantra and daily motivators are expressed in Luke 12:48, “When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.” 2 Corinthians 12:9, “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
